There will be lots of cards made today by talented and awesome card makers. I actually started to make a few cards before today. I have made a few Christmas cards and they can be seen here:
Today I will be concentrating on making Santa cards for Kards for Kids today. Kards for Kids was started by a woman named Bela whose son was treated at the Hospital for Sick Children. This is Bela's story: "I have been organizing Kards for Kids HSC since 2005. The first delivery was made in Feb 2006 in which I sent a few handfuls of cards to be displayed in Marnie's Lounge. These are distributed by the doctor's and nurses at Toronto's Sick Children's Hospital to the children. We call them Smiley Cards. My son was a patient at Sick Kids and I wanted to give back for all the hopes and miracles that I had seen around me each day. I know many kids who have attended Sick Kids and some sadly who have passed on..they remain in our hearts. These cards are to help make a hard day, softer."
I am proud to say that I am on the Smiley team and have made some cards in the past for the children at The Hospital for Sick Children here in Toronto. My granddaughters have also helped me to make some cards for Kards for Kids.
I am entering this card into CAS(E) this Sketch #48
I hope the children that receive my cards will be happy with them.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for sharing my story. A special thanks for all the cards you send along for the kiddies. Love these Santa cards. The kids sure love the cards and the nurses enjoy giving them out.
