Kards for Kids by

my 2 granddaughters, Sierra age 8 and Brooke age 6.  After shopping at Scrapfest on Saturday, I went over to my daughters house armed with card stock, designer paper, stamps, ink, ribbon and my paper cutter.  Sierra and Brooke made 1 card each for Kards for Kids.  They probably would have made more cards but they each got a Rainbow Loom on Friday so were more interested in making bracelets.  I am sporting a bracelet that Brooke made for me on her Rainbow Loom.

Here they are with the cards they made:

Sierra

Brooke

Brooke's card.  I added the flat back rhinestones at home and straightened out the sentiment.

Sierra's card.

The design paper is from Recollections - A Michaels brand.  The stamps are from Kaisercraft.  The Sentiments are die cuts that they popped up with foam dots.  Their images which they coloured were also popped up on foam dots.  The ribbon is from a huge package of 24 rolls of ribbon (4 ft. each) that I bought at Scrapfest in the morning.  I will be looking after them this coming Saturday while Mommy and Daddy go to a Hallowe'en party so will bring some card kits for them to make more cards.  I am hoping that they each make at least 2 cards for Kards for Kids.

On my way home on Saturday from Scrapfest; I stopped in at Michaels and got 3 packages of elastics in Christmas colours (red, green and white) and Mommy is planning on giving them each a mixture of the elastics.

Thanks for stopping by!

They're a very talented pair of girls... Obviously they take after their Oma! (My kids and I take after Oma too... their Opa doesn't do "arty", lol) x
