Just Rite Friday Challenge

This is the 1st time that I have made a card for the Just Rite challenge.  The challenge this week is sponsored by Scor Pal so the challenge is to make a project that has scoring used on it . . . either decorative scoring or scoring used to create a project (other than just a fold on a card!).
The Scor Pal website has lots of tutorials and projects so I chose to use this one:

This turned out to be a lot harder than I thought it would be.  To make matters even worse, the 1st card I made I forgot to use a Just Rite stamp!  Aaaarrrgggghhh!  So, this morning, I made a card using a Just Rite stamp and I am quite pleased at how well it turned out.  This card will be winging its way to a very special person, my daughter, who is ill with Scarlet Fever.  She went to the Dr. today and was put on a very strong antibiotic.  Hopefully the rest of the family won't get sick.

So without further ado, here are both cards.  The 1st card will be entered in the challenge.  I used the daffodils and tulips stamp from their Breath of Spring set, coloured with my Prisma Colour Pencils and popped that baby up on the oval and oval scalloped nestibilities cut with my Cuttlebug.  I added some orange bling in the 4 corners by applying Hot Rocks jewels using my Imaginisce I Rock Tool.  The white ribbon is from my stash.

The oval scallop looks grey but it is actually a very soft shade of shimmery jade green.

Here is the 1st card I made using an image and sentiment from Close to my Heart:

The scored panel is the same shimmery soft jade green as the scallop oval on the 1st card.  I again used the butterfly designer paper on this card that I used on the Thank you card I made earlier this week (see the other post from today).   This card will probably go to my DH for Valentine's Day.  I like both cards and hope that the recipients will like them too.

Thanks for stopping by!
