Needle Necessities Floss

This is the Needle Necessities Floss - 189 - Kismet that I need for the chart pictured below. I realize that Needle Necessities has gone out of business and that a company by the name of Threadworx has bought their dye formula to produce the Needle Necessities colours.

This is the Threadworx version of NN 189. It is Threadworx 1148 - Romanian Forest. Personally, I like the Needle Necessities more.

This is the chart I need NN 189 for. I did a search online for other company's overdyed floss looking for a close match but could not find one. All the letters are stitched with NN 189.

If anyone has some in their stash and does not need it, it would be very much appreciated, if you would consider selling it to me.

Hiya! Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. The Sweet Treat "kits" do add up if you're buying them altogether (I've been buying them as they come out once a month)... You're getting the buttons and full skeins of the crescent colour threads though, so I do think it's worth it. I always use Needlecraft Corner, but Stitching Bits & Bobs seem to be having a sale at the moment. HTH.

It looks like the thread you need may be available here:

Hi skbowdle - I emailed a Canadian Cross stitch store as they still have NN listed on their site. Hopefully they will have the one I need. As I live in the same city as the store, I can always pop in and pick it up. They are located in the west end and I am in the East end, so do not go there very often, but if they have it, I will make the trip to pick it up.

Sorry I can't help you with the thread. I wish you luck on getting it, it looks like there are some folks out there that can help.
That is such a pretty piece.
Take care!

I had heard that another company was going to pick up where NN left off but I had not seen the new threads. I know of a shop in VT (whistling Duck) that carried NN and I will call them to see if they have what you need.

Oma-
I checked with the shop in Williston, VT and she has 2 skeins of NN 189 ~ Do you still need this?
