Try Stampin' on Tuesday on a Thursday

I have been neglecting my blog and I hope to be back to blogging more frequently this year.  I love sketch challenges and have done quite a few.  I did blog and link up to most of them but there have been a few when I've made a card too late to link up to the challenge.  I like the TSOT sketches   and this week's sketch is no exception.  Here is the sketch:

And here is the card I made using the sketch as inspiration. The sketch also has an optional theme which is a burst of colour.

The card stock, sentiment stamp and die cut hearts are from a card making kit that I bought from Spellbinders a few weeks ago.  Spellbinders was selling their left over kits for an extremely good price - 5 kits for $50.00.  Each kit came with card stock, design paper, embellishments, ribbon, twine, acrylic stamps, acrylic stamp blocks as well as several dies.  The enamel hearts are from my stash.  My pop of colour on this card is the red scalloped heart and the enamel hearts.

Thanks for stopping by!

Anna - great interpretation of the sketch this week! I've never seen the Spellbinders kits before, where they online or at a local craft store? Your card is beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!!! -Donna

Hi Donna - the kits are online - just go to Spellbinders. The original price of the kits with the dies are $50.00 each and I bought 5 for $50.00 so $10.00 each. The kits are very good quality.
