MIA
And here's why:
Anyone else with this problem?
Opa and I visited our grandchildren this afternoon and I took some pictures:
This is my daughter Janice with Brooke who had her face painted this morning at Springridge Farms which is an awesome place for toddlers and preschoolers. Brooke will be 2 on July 7th and she looks a lot like her mother at the same age. Love the white blonde hair!
This is Sierra who will be 4 on June 8th. Where has the time gone? She had her face painted this morning as well. She is so muich fun and loves playing with her sister and her Oma and Opa.
She loves to make cards with me and we will be making a special card for her Mommy next time I go to their house. Brooke enjoys stamping and usually manages to get all kinds of ink all over her hands. Last week Saturday, she placed the palm of her hand in a maroon ink pad. Sierra, her mother and I made a birthday card for Sierra's friend from Day Care. Brooke and Sierra went to her birthday party last week. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me so did not take a picture of the finished card. I used a Disney Princess stamp and Sierra coloured it.

I won!
2 free tickets to attend the Kitchener Scrap Fest. My daughter and I will be attending on Saturday, April 18th. My Son in Law will be flying to Switzerland on business so that means that Opa will get to babysit. I won the tickets from The Scrapping Turtle which is a Scrapbookking store in St. Jacobs. I love their store as they sell some really neat stamps and embellishments and also lots of paper stock and patterned papers. Opa and I love going to the Farmers' Market in St. Jacobs and usually go about 4 - 5 times a year. My granddaughters Sierra and Brooke love the Lego store in the Outlet Mall which is across the street from the market.
The following week, I will be attending the Creative Show here in Toronto and am really looking forward to it. I have been attending the Creative Show for years. They used to be called the Creative Sewing and Needlework Festival and was geared to the Needle Arts. I still enjoy doing Counted Cross Stitch embroidery and knitting. Over the years, more and more other crafts got booths at the show and they changed their name a few years ago to reflect the many crafts that are represented at the show. The main focus though, is still the Needle Arts, particularly Sewing and Quilting.
Not only will I be looking for stamps, embellishments and paper, but I will also be shopping for beads to make bracelets and necklaces. The next 2 Saturdays will be lots of fun!

Easter treats..........
for my granddaughters:
All paper and images from CTMH. Martha Stewart punch and ink from SU. Candy from Walmart! Tutorial for the bag/box can be found here.
I am actually giving 2 pink boxes to the girls as they would be struggling with the ribbon so I attached a velcro closure on the pink boxes. I will give the green one to someone else, just haven't decided yet as to who!

Happy 5th Anniversary!!
To my beautiful daughter Janice and her handsome hubby Rob! Love you guys so much! It seems like yesterday that we boarded the plane for Vegas to attend your wedding. I was listening to my Shania Twain CD at work today and when she sang "You're still the one," I immediately thought of both of you.
I hope you have a nice evening together.
All my love, Mom
