Homemade Ribbon flowers
While blog surfing, I came across a sketch that I loved and I knew right away how I wanted to interpret it.
Here is the sketch:
which I found on the Card Patterns blog.
Here is my interpretation of the sketch:
I used Bo Bunny paper, maroon and white card stock and the sentiment from Stampendous was stamped with SU's Rich Razzleberry ink. I learned how to make the flowers from ribbon from this tutorial that I found on You Tube. I embellished the flowers with flat pears and also applied 3 more flat pears under the sentiment. I love this card and it will be hard for me to part with it if and when I decide to send it to someone.
I also found not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 different challenges that I will be entering this card into. They all had the same challenge and that was to make your own flowers. Here are the blog challenges I am entering my card into.
Craft your days away; Moving along with the times ; paperplay challenges & Incy Wincy Designs.
I am also entering my card into another challenge: Bearly-Mine - flowers.
I am hoping to win or at least get an honourable mention on at least 1 of the challenges I entered.
Thanks for stopping by!
